      An idea is nothing more nor less than a new combination of old elements

      This reminds me of the book Steal Like an Artist, which preaches that at this point nothing is original and all art is made from stealing bits and pieces of inspiration from different things that the artist has seen.

      Creativity or talent, like electricity, is something I don’t understand but something I’m able to harness and use.

      When I have a creative impulse I try to run with it rather than question it. I've found my creativity comes in waves so I try to take advantage of it when I can.
