    1. We’ve all heard about google translate. This cool tool that can translate what you type in onelanguage to another, but that’s just the beginning of the technology we can use for ELL’s now. Tostart going off of google, google translate has a lot of new features. It can live translate whatsomeone says in one language into text and then into another language, and the newer phoneshave google ai which can translate what someone says live into English. These tools could helpyou to understand a students needs when they don’t know almost any language and they couldhelp you communicate back to that student while they still don’t know much English. The use ofother ai tools can also translate text and can also be used in other ways. Google also has ai thatcan now read through texts and give you key points and summaries which could be used to helpELL’s comprehend a text in English while doing less reading of the wordy texts. If you have astudent that struggles with reading but understands English well, they could use ai that reads textfor you. These are all meant to be tools and not relied on long term, but if incorporated correctlyinto a classroom it could make learning another language while learning new content at the sametime a lot easier

      :)

    2. After all, our first job is to teach our subject. Introducing simpler texts words can alsohelp for those at low reading levels. It’s also important to remember that even at higher readinglevels they might be missing bits and pieces and so just being there to help is important. Gettingto know your students and their individual strengths and weaknesses is very important. Also, things like highlighting words they may not know or sentences that are important to the text mayhelp them understand

      Big hype for this paragraph.

    3. you

A cheat code for academic writing: instead of writing you one can replace it with one or someone depending on context. It sounds more like instructions and thus more academic. "Imagine a teacher sitting someone down for a test but the entire test is in French. One might be able to pick out words that sound similar, but the sentence structure wouldn't make sense right?" Although this strategy is way less personable so I only use it on my most official papers lmao.

    4. Lastly you may have students who are very new to English especiallyat lower grade levels, and while they will be working with a special language teacher (ESL) youstill need to do your best to teach them your content with the resources you have.

I like this point, just because there is another teacher does not mean you can offload your responsibilities onto the other teacher.

    5. This research paper will seek to find methods to help English language learners in yourclass

TRUE (written with the intention to say you accomplished your thesis)

You have some citations, but don't cite them throughout. I would change that for the final draft as well as adding a basic research paper or two about teaching ELL students. However, overall I like the flow of your paper. You can tell its a bit rushed based on its more casual cadence and limited citations, but there are good things you have written down. I really liked your technology paragraph as it gives teachers who may not speak the students language a plausible way to communicate. The message of the paper is clear and your empathy paragraph drives home your thesis of making efforts for ELL students. For your final draft you might consider focusing more on science strategies, there are for sure some research papers on that specifically. Coupled with what you have it'll be more than enough for a complete paper.

    7. preform

Perform, there are a few points where you say preform rather than perform. Why does English never pronounce words as they are written.
