list of counties in Utah with the highest rate of food insecure children
How does the population of each county compare to this list. (https://www.utah-demographics.com/counties_by_population) Hmmm, it didn't correlate as much as I thought it would. However here counties are ranked by percentage rather than pet capita. I need to see if I can find data that compares more accurately.

data from Feeding America
The data in this article focuses on children experiencing food insecurity. It's relevant because if children in a household are experiencing food insecurity then it is of course likely that the entire household is experiencing it. I would prefer to find data specific to households if possible when revising.

Daggett County
This county needs a closer look for how it fits into my goals. It is the least populated county, but the the percentage of households above the federal poverty guidelines is the highest, and significantly so at 95% v. 55% being the highest above FPL for any other county. I see it as more of an outlier. (Wish I knew more about data analytics.)

The nonprofit Feeding America describes food insecurity as “a lack of consistent access to enough food for every person in a household to live an active, healthy life.”
Great quote with relevant info. Look into where this originated (likely on Feeding America's site).

Not having consistent access to enough food can affect cognitive abilities, overall health, moods, and attention spans—not to mention the psychological effects of living with scarcity.
Is there a way to include the effects of food insecurity into my project? It is definitely relative to the subject, but not necessarily to the profile I am working on.

Stacker
What is Stacker about. How reliable of a source are they? Are they fact checked, and if so how? Go over their about me page to see if this a source I feel comfortable citing. (Conclusion: I am actually pretty impressed. Mission statement is "We are on a mission to produce and distribute engaging data journalism to the world’s news organizations. Founded in 2017, Stacker combines data analysis with rich editorial context, drawing on authoritative sources and subject matter experts to drive storytelling." but they also are very transparent on the sources for the data. It is a good mix of government and private sector sources with reputations for accuracy)
