It is interesting that the value of learning in all areas has not change. There is still this notion that mathematics can support knowledge in the arts and vice versa.

It is interesting that the board has to comment that this structure is not for sale, when many of there workers were. It gives a notion that there was more value given to a structure than humans.

The school was only expecting to have male students. Which shouldn't come as a surprise because of the time period. It is only recent that women have been able to attend UVA.
