      This is like what Jesus did on the cross for us, died to save us from sin.

      This reminds me of how they nailed Jesus to the cross. This doesn't really make sense to me how the more someone suffers, the more of a reward they will get.

      Is this referring to a sacrifice? Or is referring to accepting death knowing they will have eternal life with God?

      I feel like this choice in wording makes it feel odd. I feel as if they didn't try to learn the customs of these people and rather just tried to overtake what they know. Although I am a Christian as well, I can't tell if they had good intentions with sharing the Gospel to these people.
