      Folk Tales are an important part of all cultures since they can act as proverbs, revealing truths about society.

    2. Books are sometimes windows, offering views of worlds that may be real or imagined, familiar or strange.

      I agree with this statement because books typically show us a different point of view, wether it be fiction or nonfiction.

    3. It could, however, help us to understand each other better by helping to change our attitudes towards difference. When there are enough books available that can act as both mirrors and windows for all our children, they will see that we can celebrate both our differences and our similarities, because together they are what make us all human.

      I agree with this statement because having information on different cultures can help everyone understand each other’s differences.
