      This is exactly why I believe classroom discussions are important. It is important that while absorbing any sort of information that you keep an open mind to different concepts. Group discussions let you hear different concepts in an open environment so that you can consider different possibilities and form intelligent opinions.

      This is a good tip for teachers to use because students often feel like they must speak to the teacher because that is who is grading them. It is helpful to let the students know it is a discussion among them and there is no right or wrong answer to be given.

      I wonder how accurate the results of the Social History Society's conferences are. It seems like they could use a more diverse array of different types of people to make their meetings more progressive and productive.

      I understand where the Carnegie unit works and I like the idea, but it doesn't factor in learning disabilities. Even though someone is exposed to a certain time of teaching, it doesn't mean they are absorbing all of it

      This reminds me about a lecture I attended in high school about how it is unfair that teachers are paid for their time rather than their quality of work
