      I like this portion of the article because I can personally relate to it. As much a feminism is coherent in what it stands for, there are people who misinterpret it. For Rose and even in my own experience I can see how their perception of feminism has to change and develop simply because they thought the wrong thing originally, depending on whatever reason.

    1. While purely verbal literature can present trauma,

      I think another difference here is that graphic novels already illustrate the type of trauma they are telling. while pure text literature has a varying effect because it relies on the reader to use their vivid imagination to interpret the scene.

      Could this be considered some form of 'release' for the authors of such literature genres? Like how a common form of therapy is writing in a journal (similar to Rorshach).

      Although the detail is never directly mentioned, I noticed how money, title/status, and inheritance wasn't necessarily discussed between Mr. Oldbuck and the parents. He seems to just need to profess his passion for her and that he fought someone and the parents agreed.

    2. The rival continues his aquatic amusement.

      Apparently this is an important detail compared to the many, many other details (that were actually important) that was worth keeping in for comedy sake.

    3. Mr. Oldbuck seems to be very negligent with his pets...
