    1. In our research and work with teachers we identified five core skills that make conversations more academic:

      I really like this notion of "natural curiosities" being freed. Sometimes we wonder as instructors why students are so quiet... or even our colleagues in important conversations! It has to come back to making sure that everyone feels safe.
