      In reading this, I was thinking about Donald Trump and his 'stolen election' campaign that led so many Americans to distrust the evidence and accept a new non-truth. Though opposite to the aims of public health, I do think that public health communicators have much to learn from these campaigns that are so effective despite being misinformed.

    1. Even little choices such as dress and the effort put into designing an attractive and appropriate talk may help shape beliefs about warmth, competence, identity and other potential objectives.

      I think this is a really interesting point. While I understand where this is coming from, I also remember speaking in other public health classes about how standards of professionalism are typically informed by white and western standards.
