    1. Yet, the generally uncritical discourse that technology is necessary for (uninterrogated and normalized definitions of) personal and societal success has deeply influenced education and teacher preparation.

Although technology has not been around a long time ago and has not been needed for an education, I believe that today it is extremely useful in a classroom. Students are extremely familiar and comfortable using technology because of having grown up with it. It is inevitable to get rid of it and to teach students not to use it anymore

    1. Design matters in higher education.

I believe that this statement is highly true for all grades. When you are younger, students were engaged in class activities because they were fun and more engaging. This would also apply for higher education too because in order on keeping students more engaged in an activity or in class, design does matter.

    1. The framework is Universal Design for Learning (UDL).

From all that I have learned, Universal Design for learning is very important for learning. Every child is different. Just because one student can do it one way does not mean another student can do it the exact way. Having tools that are accessible will give every child the chance to learn on their level.

    1. learning theories, Bloom’s taxonomy, and the ISTE Standards for Students as a guide for evaluating and determining which tool to use based on the learning experience you’d like to provide for your students.

I never heard of Bloom's taxonomy before but it does seem very interesting. Wanting to become a teacher someday this would be a great learning theory that would be very beneficial to my students.

    1. do you need technology at all?

That is a really good question! I would say yes because all of the information and sources that we go are using technology. Also, technology is growing everyday and has the things that we need to look up right there.

    1. “What is the student’s relationship to the technology?”

Over the years, students have grown a closer relationship to technology. Technology helps us get information, store information, and use it for future references. Technology is developing everyday and becoming more common for people to access effectively and easily. But, with how fast and effective technology is becoming over the years, it is much easier for them to gather information about a person.

    1. Cognitivism describes how learning happens through thinking, organizing, storing, and retrieving information

Thinking, organizing, storing, and retrieving information are the major components that help develop executive functions. Cognitivism really helps a person form information on something they are struggling with. It also makes it easier for them to store information for the long term and future information they want to store.

    1. “When you don’t pay for the product, you are the product.”

I personally have near head this phrase before but I found it to be very interesting!

    1. Individuals who use technological devices to make life easier are likely engaging with artificial intelligence (AI), which has computers performing tasks that traditionally required human intelligence

As I started reading, this sentence stood out to me because it was something interesting to think about. As technology has improved and developed over the years, it's crazy to think of the changes and impacts it has on individuals. I know for me, I go to technology when I want to look up a quick answer or for entertainment. Now technology is becoming something more scarier because of the tracking it can do.

    1. can you really have privacy?

First thing that comes to mind is no of course. I think of how much privacy I have on the media. Even though technology is such a great advantage and that many of us use everyday, it's over course not as protected as we may think.

    1. Memorability: When users return to the design after a period of not using it, how easily can they reestablish proficiency?

Memorability was extremely interesting to me. Personally everybody learns a different way. Some people are able to remember something after a period of time not using it but others can't. I know for me, I have always struggled with using digital tools. And I am pretty sure that I wouldn't be able to remember if I don't use it everyday.

    1. Educators often use rubrics to articulate "the expectations for an assignment by listing the criteria or what counts, and describing levels of quality.

Like someone else mentioned. This idea of using rubrics to articulate is a great idea. I notice that many teachers even today articulate these tools for their students. This is extremely beneficial because it doesn't only use for education but also learning from great tools that are evaluated carefully.

    1. You’ll need a good use case to convince your client and maybe even yourself that accessibility should feature in the UX Design process.

Like Megan said, it honestly is very shocking how there needs to be some type of convincing on a client part to make a website accessible! I personally believe that everything should be accessible no matter who you are. If I was to run my own website, I would be sure to make it accessible for everyone! I don't see why convincing should even be an option.

    1. deliberate, regular engagement could produce.

Knowing a little bit about Twitter, it was good reading how it engages with talking and discussing topics that you are most interested in. You can also engage with other people and share your thoughts all over the world.

    1. So, how do you find out about the latest trends, tools, and apps for teaching and learning? And, how do you discover which tools other educators are using with great success?

I have questions this in wondering how to find the best tools and apps for teaching a learning. There are a ton of tools out there in the world but how do we know which ones are successful and which are not? In wanting to become a teacher someday, I want to give my students the best tools in becoming as successful they can be.

    1. Educators can choose which people, spaces, and tools support their own unique needs, interests, and goals. They can decide when and where they would like to learn, how much time to spend learning, and how they would like to engage

The learning that is with PNL definitely helps the circulum in schools. It benefits both teachers and the students in finding/having the learning skills that best fit them. Just like someone else has mentioned, it provides everybody on successfully learning use PLN.
