      This reminds me of how the creators of new media and technology want society to be shaped. For instance, they target or create the direction they want people to go in then they use the "caught" method to see if people go the direction they are aiming for. If it doesn't work, they may try a different tactic.

      If we had to describe social change in only regards to how media has shaped it, we would be missing big aspects of social change. Media is not the only concept that can change how people communicate or the direction society may gravitate in, people still desire some form of human interaction, not through a screen. This makes me think of the point of feeling alone when people are around, you can still feel alone and even lonely with all this media surfacing and changing daily. There are more terms that we can see than just media communiation.
