      I would love to see examples of this in action for "hard to be creative" courses like mathematics and hard sciences.

    2. Meaningful learning requires active engagement, critical thinking and thoughtful reflection

      I think this is important for us to consider as we look at our own courses. Many students don't know what active engagement and critical thinking even look like (and have no idea what they are supposed to do with a reflection beyond meet the word count and and answer the questions we ask). How do we teach these skills in a way that is meaningful AND goes beyond our classes?

    3. Scavenger hunts

      There is a free scavenger hunt app called Goosechase. I love to give the students examples of different things out in the world and they have to go find it and take pictures or videos of it. We've done this with Disability Heritage Month on a larger scale as well.
