This reminds me of cloud technology. It's interesting to think that cloud technology has only now recently become increasingly popular among individuals and companies, despite its concept being imagined for decades now. I wonder how Bush would reimagine cloud technology if he were to witness it today.

I wonder if Bush would be surprised by how advanced search technologies have become. i.e. the size of datasets machines can turn through and how specific you can make your searches. Bush was very hopeful about how technology would simplify and streamline everyday processes.

I wonder if Bush would be surprised, that despite there now exists technology that does not require photos to be wetted during the development process, people still resort to old practices. In fact. many photographers even specialize in darkroom photography. It is interesting to think how regardless of technological advancements, there will always be people who prefer older/more complicated technologies.

I agree with Bush's statement in regards to instant gratification. However, the advancement of technology has definitely heightened this problem for people. I wonder if Bush would, today, advocate for a more minimalist lifestyle with decreased use of technology.

I feel like Bush is saying the benefits of technological advancement outweigh the consequences. I would agree, however, these issues can be improved with the proper ethics training. Too many technologists create innovations without considering social factors that would shift with the introduction of said new technology.

Although technology has advanced to create digital photography, artists/photographers still teach and practice darkroom photography. I wonder if Bush anticipated this outcome--that despite there being technology available to make photo-taking a simpler process, some people still opt for older technologies.
