What change can be accomplished if a large number of people work toward the same goal all at the same time?

Our greatest primary task is to put people to work.
This reminds me of The Grapes Of Wrath. The Joads go all around central California and the Central Valley looking for work. That is the primary thing they are looking for: work. If they have work, then they have a means to provide for themselves and their family. Because of that, finding a way to be put to work is what they need the most.

So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance.
Fear is what keeps us from achieving our full potential. Whether it is fear of failure, fear of others, or fear of anything else, it is what suppresses our impulses to do great things. When we make decisions based on our fears, we give in to paralysis and indecision. We can only overcome fear and advance by realizing that there is nothing that we should actually fear other than fear itself.
