I like this emphasis on the perspective that teachers also need to always be learning as well. To be able to teach effectively, you have to be constantly learning. I think this perspective is especially important in modern times. In today's society, the world changes rapidly and frequently. For instance, there are always ongoing discussions about social issues and these discussions bring to light problems that not everyone may have been previously aware of. We are constantly learning new things about the language we use, people's identities, and implicit biases we may have. It is vital to stay up to date on these conversations and constantly learn, so that you can take such ideas into account when addressing your students.

I really like learning about this method of filtering online resources. When I saw students in the school I worked at on their iPads all the time, it worried me. I think technology can be a blessing and a curse, and the internet can be a very dangerous place. However, this class has shown me how many helpful resources there are that can truly benefit learning. I like this method, because it encourages the use of online resources without blindly giving g kids access to the internet. What I also like about this method is that it can also be used by students to decide if sources are reliable for research. This can be useful for both students and teachers, and should definitely be taught in schools!

I like that there is space for using both digital and physical resources. I work at an elementary school, and I feel they often use iPads as a replacement for other resources. Although technology can be useful, I think that overexposure can be harmful to young kids. I like that this acknowledges both types of resources, and that they can be used in conjunction, not just one or the other. I think that using digital resources to enhance learning from physical resources is great.
