It’s funny that Frankenstein considers himself as the most “miserable of mortals” considering that his creation feels the same way. The overwhelming guilt of his creation and it’s actions is taking a toll on him because it is also a secret of his. I don’t think anyone knows of the monster but he does tell a nurse about it, I don’t think she believes him. Since he is going through this and feels as if all of the monsters doings are his fault, the idea of being punished for it seems ideal since he is the cause of the monsters behavior. As if he also believes that he deserve the punishments to some extent.

I find this interesting because though she does have many people who can clarify her character and defend her, those same people are the ones who are accusing her of the murder or not necessarily accusing her but not putting it past her either. It was really selfish of Victor to let Justine to go through this just to protect his reputation though protecting his reputation is still giving him personal or emotional damage about since he does have a positive view on Justine but he also doesn’t want to have more of a negative view on himself because he knows whole heartily that it is his fault.

This is an example of Romantic styled writing because it is making this emotional part of his journey as a scientist and turning it into an imaginative form of his point of view on the different types of researches/scientist that he has studied to compare them while still shining light on how they are both contributing to his knowledge in different ways.
