      Enheduanna's attitude mirrors that of her in previous poems. An is the Sumerian/Babylonian creator of the universe and one of the main gods. In Inanna vs. Ebih, Enheduanna, however, displays An as being afraid of the mountain and Inanna as confronting the mountain and defeating it: the woman stands in power over the man. This stands in vast contrast to her current situation where the man has been exalted into her position and usurps it: the man stands over the woman. Additionally, reading through the poem, while Enheduanna is praising Innana, it seems that she is also identifying, or at the very least, hoping to identify with the power of the goddess and speak it into effect in light of her current situation.

      I am reading this closer to the effect of "Amen!" Enheduanna is not only paying tribute to Innana but also invoking her power and saying "It shall be done.
