I disagree with this statement because when some people hear the world confederacy they think of enslavement of black people not a celebration of confederacy.

I agree with the statement because you really don't really get to see the ships where slaves were brought to America. I feel that america tried to sweep that part of history under the rug and act like we was always equal to each other.
