It was super cool as the whole article is about to see firsthand accounts because it really shows a different picture in your head. It is super cool seeing this page of a transgender women who's page is something I would have enjoyed interacting with being on the internet before I was even born !

Grades tend to diminish students’ interest in whatever they’re learning. A “grading orientation” and a “learning orientation” have been shown to be inversely related and, as far as I can tell, every study that has ever investigated the impact on intrinsic motivation of receiving grades (or instructions that emphasize the importance of getting good grades) has found a negative effect.
I can completely relate to this, as when I start to stress out about my grades during finals season or even just during the quarter, I find myself trying to gather as much information to just pass the class and not so much to learn.
