    1. with everyone addressing their comments to the rest of the class, and everyone else seeming to listen; with most comments being responses to comments that have been made.

I believe it is important for class discussions to be held in classrooms because not only do students get to voice their opinions but they also get to hear what their fellow classmates think. By listening to their classmates opinions, they can better understand them and also gain better knowledge about the situation that is being talked about.

    1. So we have a duty to elicit, by whatever means necessary, participation and discussion from all students, regardless of their predisposition to participate: they all need to learn through discussing, and they all need to learn through hearing others participate.

Even though many students do not have the confidence to take part in class discussions, it is very important that each student does talk aloud because it helps them learn about the topic that is being talked about. Also, by everyone contributing to the discussion, the students learn more and have a greater understanding.

    1. And above all, the historian has to choose a topic that interests him and his readers. That is one reason why all history is contemporary history and repeatedly needs to be rewritten.

History has to be constantly rewritten because times change. In order for the readers to be able to understand and relate to the topic, history has to be constantly changed to the modern day way.

By going to class and spending the time in class, we gain intelligence and better knowledge for the real world. Only through time, can we gain good habits to seek knowledge and grow deeper in our intelligence.

    1. multitasking of higher-level projects may take longer than their completion in a linear fashion

I do agree with this statement, because when we need to get something complicated done, it takes a lot of focus. By multitasking and focusing on other things as well, the "higher-level" project can take much longer than it would if we just focused on that one project and nothing else. I think it is very possible to multitask with day-to-day things, but when it comes to major assignments or complicated things it much more efficient to just do that task and nothing else.
