      This could also be seen as Game Theory to an extent, which is more of an economical idea. Keeping the two fish in the lake is also an interesting concept. It creates an additional layer, where we could accomplish feeding everyone this year only to make everyone suffer the following year.

      Does an understanding of philosophy only create awareness of issues or does it lead to change? In this case, it seems like our protagonist is struggling with a lot of different things. If she was to become fully aware of these issues, would philosophy provide the resources to take action?
