Fake news
Why are they deciding what is fake news and what's real? I'm sorry but these people using the media to project their own warped/twisted reality is bizarre. I mean at least they're being inclusive in the way that they are trying to appeal to a large audience while facing as little criticism as possible, which is impossible because the variance of opinion in this country is too vast to appeal to everyone. So, what they end up doing is appealing to the far left because that is what is customary for most media to do nowadays. They'll take the criticism from the conservatives and even moderates, make it a joke and continue to boost their ratings with those people who enjoy live entertainment which tends to lean left. But the reality is that they are as big a clown as President Trump. They sit up there with their fake smiles and overused jokes and regurgitate old news in a way that makes them and their followers look better. Isn't that where we've gotten to as a society? Everyone is always trying to be better than everyone else. I refuse to put people that think like this on a pedestal and that is why when they make fun of Trump for an hour I think to myself, "You guys are probably more similar than you want to admit."
journalism
What is the function of journalism? I probably depends on the interests of the network, individuals within the network including the host or journalist, and lastly money/viewership with all these factors intersecting. In the case of Stewart or Colbert or any of these late night talk show hosts, I have a running theory that it is the lack of original content that drives these people towards commentating on politics. Don't get me wrong, I think it is very hard to be a talkshow host. Come out with new shows and original content daily. You have to look like your having fun while doing it. They always do but I and most people would hate the job. I think it takes a certain kind of person I guess is what I'm saying. What makes Stewart or Colbert an expert on morality, on politics, what people should and should not be saying and wokeness is founded on nothing. I see these men (many of them are men) as just as confused or more confused than the rest of us including President Trump. A lot of people are just turning on their shows to unwind before they go to sleep. Maybe get a few laughs or see what's going on in the world. Many of these people are middle aged to older aged Americans who still watch TV. These people provide a service or entertainment rather and I think most people view them that way. As for their shows, while individual parts of episodes may be entertaining I think they are falling pretty flat on multiple accounts. Also, the lack of diversity of content among talk show hosts and their willingness to ascribe to a small subset of the "woke" ideology that does not include most Americans, turns me off (I generally see the woke movement as pretty toxic as it stems dialogue). I believe in open discussion and not always making everything and everyone the butt of your joke and that's what they do. I see them overall as pretty toxic and despicable people. I do acknowledge, however, that some people including my mom get some entertainment value from them, and that is why they continue to exist.
le who couldn'I unde
Maybe but his actions on privacy has eliminated his hope of ever being truly liked. He is not charismatic enough and is too controversial to be liked. The social network did not portray him nicely. Probably the height of his popularity was when he pledged to give away the vast majority of his wealth to charity before he died but ever since that point the constant lawsuits and controversy surrounding and his company especially since the election of Donald Trump has made him a more infamous illuminati figure as opposed to good guy.

Great question by the author. What drives Mark Zuckerberg? Who is he? Why does he do the things he does? Is it because he like programming? Does he care about the actual product of facebook? Is he just weird? The world will never know. Perhaps only Zuckerberg knows

I think it's safe to say that they experience some kind of pain. May not be how mammals or humans experience pain. They are more prehistoric creatures and their nervous system is not as developed but they definitely have the capacity albeit limited to sense something is going wrong and it's the natural instinct of orgasms to live. See obv bad and a joke but if you pay enough to a university, it should be up to the university whether to admit you. Happens at all universities. I know this was $500,000 in bribes but if this was tot he actual university without guarantee of admission it's much better.
