I was unsure to annotate the direct reference, however, within the video, there is a selection to press "theatre mode" which removes the side bar of videos while still allowing for the transcript and comments. There are a few options for adaptability within the desktop and mobile version within Youtube that present accessibility for many users!

    2. Setting applies to this browser only Use device theme Dark theme Light theme

Youtube offers a "light version" and a "dark version" which I tried both to see their levels of contrast to the foreground/videos. I personally found the light version to be easier to view the videos and location of the search bar. However, the dark version is a less harsh option on the eyes and Youtube also applied the contrasting colour to all words to ensure ease of reading.

Youtube itself offers the same font on the video titles and captions. However, there can be complexity when viewing the video's title page themselves as they sometimes can offer a different font for the title based on what the creator made. On desktop, when watching this video, it also offers a selection of popular and similar videos for viewers on the right side. When hovering your mouse over each video, it will play a short clip of the video with the closed captions on. This presents quite an accessible layout for users to navigate to additional preferred content. Similarly, on the mobile app, it presents the same theme as the desktop version. The primary difference being the suggested videos showing after the main video is finished. This method may be preferable to users as it is visually less complex to see one video at a time when watching.

    4. Search with your voice

This is an interest add in that could apply to the text to speech screen reader as it allows viewers to vocalize what they are searching for opposed to have to type it. However, to use the actual text to speech function, I'm unsure if Youtube offers this but I was able to access this function when highlighting words, right clicking, and pressing "Speech".

    5. Follow along using the transcript.

When scrolling through videos to watch, Youtube offers closed captioning on the videos before clicking them. The closed captions and transcripts for most videos allows for viewers with hearing impairments to easily access the same content as everyone else. If closed captions are not on, they are a click away by selecting the "CC" button. Similarly, with this specific annotation, you can click the "Show Transcript" button and it provides viewers a real time transcript as the video is playing.
