Much of our basic research is dedicated to studying fundamental psychological processes, such as memory, attention, language comprehension, motivation, decision making, and many other topics.
While attending here at this college I can study more and be ahead of some other research classes. The more you work the more you learn is my goal to achieve any challenges while studying. By doing these practices I will have a better idea of how to deal with future obstacles.
There are many research opportunities offered within the School of Psychology and at the Georgia Tech Research Institute. Undergraduates can get involved with research in three different ways: Working as a research assistant Conducting a senior thesis Participating in summer workshops and internships (on- and off-campus)
Doing these research opportunities will better my chances of being successful in my career choice. This also gives me more practice while I'm getting my bachelors at Georgia tech. Giving me more insight in the profession I want to pursue.
A Certificate in Psychology requires a minimum total of 12 semester hours, which generally translates into 4 courses: 3 required courses and 1 elective. All courses for the certificate must have a grade of "C" or better.
Getting this certificate is the key to get me better job opportunities. By getting more serious job opportunities I will get plenty of experience so I can lead up to my dream job. I need to do my best work in order to succeed this certificate.

Choosing a job you love feels like its nothing but a hobby. A hobby you get pay for of course! Hobbies are outlets and you would be stress free and happier while at work.
If you focus on developing skills i.e. public speaking, influencing, marketing, sales, customer service, project management, delegating, networking, problem solving, as best you can early on, you’ll find you will be quickly become better than your peers.
Having these unique skills can put you further ahead your age group. Learning these skills can support my long term occupation. Bigger companies will be attracted to me and I will have a bigger chance of getting a higher job.
