The Dead internet theory can be considered a conspiracy theory, but today its seems more and more real. It's basically a concept where we believe the internet is run by these bots that shape the algorithm in order to manipulate us as a whole. I don't think this theory is entirely true but I can see it happening in the near future with AI.

I find antagonist bots so annoying, as I've encountered so many of these at a a mass scale usually pushing some sort of a propaganda that is harmful to society. Is there a solution to this? Do we learn how to kill these bots?

I have always found this way of thinking ,very disturbing. At its core, nihilism argues that existence is without objective meaning, purpose, or moral truth, which can lead to extreme detachment or numbness. The only person I've met who thinks this way was utterly depressed and found no meaning in life. They found no joy, sadness, or emotion. It always broke my heart to find more people who related to that on social media. The person I knew had dead eyes, with no soul or emotion behind them.

I think tech workers bear an important responsibility to be accountable for their work. Their tech shapes and changes our society on a day to day basis, and that includes our safety. for example, AI is dramatically improving with no reins or constraints whatsoever, just hoarding data (right or wrong) and actively shaping our society today. Software developers need to take responsibility for potential misuses of new tech, like deepfakes, privacy violations, harassment, etc. If we forever rely on the mindset that laws and balance will develop in the future, it will never happen, because once damage is done, it cannot be easily undone.
