    1. When scientists wanted these human computers to do a task for them, they would give these human computers instructions for what they wanted calculated.

      This was extremely interesting to me. I find it crazy that the tasks we use ai for was once somebody's job. It makes me wonder how many jobs computers have replaced and how many it will in the future.

    1. Virtue is a group effort. Individuals can’t be virtuous on their own because “the earth is slippery, slick” (meaning it is easy for an individual to fall into bad actions, they need support and moderation)

      I believe that virtue starts with an individual effort. Sure it may be easy to slip up on your own but everybody must do their part.
