This strategy concerns me heavily. Why does 'being nice' to a computer program influence the output? There are no feelings had by AI.

enhancing student engagement
I worry about this point a little bit. Obviously virtual field trips and experiences are great if there is little time and resources to make the real deal happen. However, I think student engagement on a virtual experience does not nearly reach the level of engagement an out of class trip can manage.
