    1. Looking back, those were some of the best college courses I ever took, and I wish I would have seen that sooner. I never encountered such enthusiasm for writing as I did from my U.S. history class professor at MCC.

      Personally, especially when it comes to my education, I feel I learn or realize just how useful things are not usually right when I learn them but sometime later. So to sometimes learn and then move away from it and even grow that knowledge further is really cool because you're able to look back with a much deeper appreciation for it. I feel I experienced the same thing with an english class my high school freshman year that I didn't take as serious as I could at first but when I look back I wish I did because the things I recognize now and want to learn are the bits I missed back then.

    1. I know the transition to college can be difficult.

      My first week personally was overwhelming at first I feel only because it's new and the campus is definitely different than anything I've ever seen. But I learned very much from it all.
