, peer reports are more accurate than self-reports
I think this may be because of bias towards ourself, we tend to overlook some things we do ourselves, when to others, they stand out or are easily seen. By getting peoples opinions you may be getting the honest truth of a physical attribute and such.
Whenever we face a decision, we predict our future behaviors or feelings in order to choose the best course of action.
The decision we make is based on what we can infer about the future, how we feel about the situation or outcomes, and also what we think we are capable of and such.
—they reflect who I am back to me.
People will treat you the same way you treat them. They will guide you in what you do, acting as a reflection.

the self may be seen as a social actor, who enacts roles and displays traits by performing behaviors in the presence of others. Second,
I feel like this is somewhat related to what most of us said in reference to inner and outer self. We enact different roles and behaviors depending on who we're with and how comfortable we are with that person. In the presence of others, I feel like we all have some social morals and behaviors we all uphold which I think what this idea is trying to say.
