      It is saddening to read that the voices of students and teachers were ignored. I don't understand why their accounts would be considered distrustful when they are people who are actually a part of the program and have witnessed what it's like.

      I am curious as to what was the purpose or reasoning behind the order for a third reading?

      In the last paragraph of this letter, I agree with the fact that ethnic studies programs is vital for young people to learn about their history, and also be exposed to it as early as possible. I am curious as to how this will reduce drop-out rates or prepare youth to be college/career-ready. I wish there was more clarification regarding this.
