    1. Listen one more time. This time try to understand all that I am saying

This always helps me learn. I might think I know what is going on with what I am reading but when I read it a second time or maybe even a third time it helps my brain process the information and allows me to dissect what I am actually trying to learn or read about. Repetition is very important. So, I think this was a good way to let the kids hear is one more time.

    2. • Grammar Game     Games like the Supermarket Alphabet Game described in this chapter are used in the Audio-Lingual Method. The games are designed to get students to practice a grammar point within a context. Students are able to express themselves, although in a limited way. Notice there is also a lot of repetition in this game.

Another game I think that you could possibly add to this lesson is charades where the students or teacher can act out the actions and the other students can try to guess what they are doing. This game will encourage active participation it will help students learn the new language through motion and action.

    3. The lesson ends for the day. Both the teacher and the students have worked hard. The students have listened to and spoken only English for the period

Since they only practice for one hour a day after that hour is up if they don't practice at home, they will most likely not remember everything that they learned or talked about if it's not reinforced a few times throughout that day if they weren't given homework or anything. So, the next day if they have to repeat some of the lesson that they were taught the previous day to try to get them remember would that just set them back more because of time since they only have one hour? Or would You just create a new lesson but try to include some of the things that were in the previous lesson to reinforce what was already taught, but also learn new things?

    4. The teacher smiles. ‘Very good!’ she exclaims

The teacher smile and kind words show how important positive feedback is in the classroom. Her reaction can make students feel good about themselves and want to keep trying. When teachers use kind and encouraging feedback it helps students feel confident and support. Has small actions, like a smile or kind words, can make a big difference in learning.
