      This poem absolutely slaps, planning on getting a verse from it tattooed soon. Whitman was like an empathy savant, he was so fascinated and moved by the souls of other people that he felt like he was a literal extension or part of them

      A lot of irony in not being able to get a hold of each other while trying to talk about busyness.

      Seems to be drawing a comparison between our friends who are so busy that sometimes they can feel imaginary, as if they don't even exist in our world
