    1. And some lies have enough truth

      This reminds me of the book The Things They Carried by O'Brien. This book is a fictional war story but held truth in the emotions of the narratives.

      As a forensics major, the true events of a narrative is very important to me, but I also understand that the meaning of those events are more important in regards to storytelling in literature.

      This is very much true. The more I tell a story of a certain event the more that event loses the components of what actually happened.

      When people ask me what I like about a TV show I normally say the plot and character development but as a child I would've just said the storyline.

      This progression from actors to agents also highlights the development of free will. A child has to follow the role they were put into, but as an adult they have the freedom to vastly influence their lives.

      Most stories don't follow actual events which made me think of the extent that imagination has detached from real life in order to create those stories

      I'm confused as to why the authors says we tell our life in a narrative way because if I were to describe myself I would talk about my interests and who I am rather than the chronological events of my life

      The meaning of someone's experiences is more important than the experiences themselves.

      This will be useful if someone misses a class. Also it would be best if they were assigned so there wouldn't be a lot of notes from one session and none in another.

      This statement really opened my eyes to the extent of the importance of writing. This course will influence my personal life in addition to my academic career.
