Women’s reproductive health is so important and it needs to be taken more seriously rather than access to it being taken away. It feels selfish to me for others to ignore the necessity of contraception and abortion for many women. It's very common for women and girl to be prescribed birth control purely for health reasons such as hormonal imbalances or other reproductive issues, taking that away would cause a lot of women and girls to struggle. The same can be said about abortion, while I think everyone should have the choice, for some women it isn't just a choice but necessary, lifesaving medical care.

I find it shocking how men feel empowered to say things like this publicly. It's really telling in regards to how our society seems to be going backwards in terms of politics. Women’s rights were fought for and won before my time and yet they're still being debated and even taken away now.

I think it's incredibly interesting and also shocking how social media influencers have shifted to promote this ideology more recently. When I started getting into activism and politics in high school the mindset of people seemed much different. To me, things seemed accepting and more hopeful then. I find it scary how quickly politics and common beliefs have shifted away from being accepting to being very exclusionary, and hostile.
