From the very beginning of your paper it is clear that you feel this closeness with serpents. Immediately especially for those that may not be familiar with BorderlandsI would want to know more. As we both now, serpents depict something negative. Your lead in to Gloria's writing on ancient Goddesses transitions very smoothly. I'm curious to see what you come up with as you add more material.

It made me wonder if advocacy movements over time lose vision and purpose.
I do not agree that women have lost vision for the struggles that come with womanhood.

A sense of joy or gratitude for generations of remarkable gains seemed totally absent.
I was not present for the march but I would agree that it is important to to celebrate our small victories. However, I have attended other marches and I believe there is a sense of joy fighting for your beliefs.

Women’s sports are much more prominent —I’m a big fan of my college’s women’s basketball team.
I disagree with this statement. In fact, recent articles have shown a decrease in air time for female sports overall.
