The research presented is non-experimental because the researchers are bystanders, meaning that they are observing and collecting data for this study without manipulating any variables by introducing interventions or treatments that could have an effect on the overall outcome. This study is based off of open-ended responses collected from an online survey, so the researchers are observing variables as they naturally occur without any treatment or control groups.
