    1. As bars often are in old-fashioned and socially conscious dramas like “Sweat,” this one is a microcosm for a larger world. That includes not only Reading, Pa., the steel town where the play is set, but also a beleaguered part of the United States in which jobs are under siege and identity is fraying.

      This idea of having a bar that tells you about theirworld isn't written in the script but actually seeing that is something that the viewer had to have seen as they watched the characters and the circumstances that they had to face. The connection that the reviewer later makes with trump also comes from the circumstances of the performance and how it made her feel because it was written before that actually happened.

    1. Fact: It's actually pretty easy for vegetarians to meet their needs for protein, even if they choose not to eat eggs and dairy products. Thanks to plant-based proteins like tofu, beans, lentils and what's found in whole-grains breads and cereals, getting enough protein can be deliciously simple.

      This is one thing that everyone doesnt seem to understand. MOST PLANTS HAVE PROTEIN.

    1. Vegetarianism does not automatically constitute a more ecologically friendly alternative to eating meat. Agriculture damages the environment when vast tracts of habitat are cleared and replaced by a monoculture of a single or very few species.

      just because agriculture may also be damaging to land doesnt mean that it isnt much much better for it than growing livestock. A difference is still a difference even if it is small.

      We have the means to supplement missing vitamins and nutrients apart from that there are many plant based foods that have plenty of iron sodium or anything else such as spinach, lentils and plenty of other options.

      They say it themselves. A healthy vegetarian diet is possible and although it doesn't mean everybody chooses to be healthy it is a healthier alternative when done correctly.

      This is crazy! The fact that meat and food production could use so much and reducing it is so easy to do if we just do it.

    2. If American households were more judicious about laundry, each year they would save enough water to fill more than 7 million swimming pools. When you do wash, put full loads (saving 3,400 gallons of water a year) in cold water.

      This is a crazy number! Little things like this can make a HUGE difference if everybody made the change

      I didnt know that you could do this and I think its something that people would benefit from knowing.

      This is a ridiculous and we are wasting so many recources on getting this meat.

    1. Replacing 75% of beef and lamb with chicken and pork could reduce emissions to five gigatons a year. Better yet, if we replaced the ruminant meat with grains and cereals, emissions could be reduced to three gigatons.

      This is a huge number that can make a huge difference
