      Wow... I have heard of instances similar to this one. A stranger narrates the life of another stranger online, it goes viral and the identities of everyone are revealed. To me it seemed meaningless I never thought that the people involved could just want their privacy. I find it very scary how this can happen to anyone. Another reason why I limit my social media usage. I found myself to be engaging with very negative commentary and it really affected my mental health. I wonder how this womans mental health is going. Pretty much the whole world knows about her know unfortunately.

    1. The original content creator, meme creator, and subject of the image/meme may all have conflicting ideas about the value of the meme, which can often lead to legal disputes.

      Legal disputes over memes?? Wow I feel very old haha. This seems absurd. I view memes as harmless funny pictures.

      Well maybe a picture could be copyright or the meme is vulgar which I would understand. It just sounds funny to have a legal dispute over a meme.

      I like this new perspective of what a meme can be. I usually viewed memes just as enjoyment or with a funny little catchphrase. I connected the meme culture ideology to the fandom and open web concept we have discussed in class. Similar to fandoms, memes can be in a fandom setting!

      This article is so true. White terrorism and White supremacy has been the biggest threat to our American citizens. The basis of being an all white society and hurting or harming those who do not fit is blatant terrorism.
