hi new notes.
So hold fast to my Sunnah (way/practice) and the Sunnah (way/practice) of the Rightly- Guided Caliphs whowill come after me. -ِAbuDawud201/44.Technical/Scienti cMeaning:The meaning of the word Sunnahdi ers among the terminology of the scholars according to the purpose oftheir science or study or research.
I remember reading a story in Irshad about a man that loved Nabi (saw) but didn't want to follow one of the righteous khalifs. If my memory serves me properly Nabi (saw) would not face this man when he came for intercession. When i find this story would I add this to my anthology?
Khabr:- Marfu’, mauquf, and maq’tu- Hadeeth is from Nabi ﷺand Khabr is from other than Nabi ﷺ- One speci c while one is general: Every hadeeth is khabr but every khabr is not hadeeth.★ Athr:
Just checking all this info for correction. So a sunnah is Marfu, Mauquf, and Maq'tu and so it includes actions and sayinsg of the sahaba and tabieen also. Also, Khabr is also Marfu' Mauquf, and Maq tu. so kabr is also things from the sahaba and Tabi een. But Khabr is not hadeeth because it does not go back to Nabi (saw).. And all hadeeth, and khabr have the same meaning as Athr. So what exactly is Athr? is it the narration of the hadeeth and khabr?
This line right here has me wondering about all the imams that lead atrawih with the Holy Quran in their hands. and all the people that follow along with the Holy Quran in their hands.
This is a reminder that Holy Quran and Sunnah go hand and hand. An example is the abrogated ayahs that you will not find in holy Quran, so if you do not follow sunnah you will be missing rulings and laws.
I was thinking an example of this would be the sahaba using the incident of the lady and young man to establish the ruling to abrogate the ayah on the penalty for stoning. But then it says not in Holy Quran. So can you give me an example of how the Usool would use sunnah to establish laws.
An example of this would be the use of miswak during wudhu It is something Nabi (Saw) used to do, but without doing so the wudhu is still valid..
When I read this I think of Imam Jazuli and tha Dalail Khairat as an example. He get blessings for introducing such a blessed book and the blessings of those that recite it, and every person that reads Dalail also gets blessings.
Many of the Islamic Jurists - fuqaha- are of the opinion that a weak hadith of certainqualities can be used if no other, better hadith can be found about the topic. ImamsAbu Hanifa, Sha ’i, Malik, and Ahmad ibn Hanbal
Are there any examples of these instances?
And he didthis with every single hadith that he has transmitted or recorded and he did thisfor the entirety of his occupation in the Science of Hadith
Are there any muhaddith to reference that realized their memory was going and therefore, decided to protect their previous books by retiring from the sciences of hadith science field?
there is hardly any branch from the branches of hadith sciences except that hehas authored a separate work regarding its intricacies
What are the names of some of his other works?
As well as another work regarding the etiquettes(Adaab) of studying the narrations entitled Al-Jami’Li-AdaabAs-SheikhWas-Saami’.
Is this book in english and is it available to study?]
