    1. The investigator is staggered by thefindings and conclusions of thousands of other workers—conclusions which he cannot find time to grasp, much lessto remember, as they appear. Yet specialization becomesincreasingly necessary for progress, and the effort to bridgebetween disciplines is, correspondingly, superficial

Bush statement "The Investigator staggered by findings and conclusions of thousands of worker ... as they appear." is extremely important since everyone cant be experts in various different places, I believe Bush here introduces the idea that we would need a way firstly store knowledge. Therefore, to make significant progress specialization becomes important. Since, one does not have to be an expert in multiple fields as they would be able to access knowledge of other fields and able to focus on progressing their research.

    2. They areilluminating the interactions of his physiological and psy-chological functions, giving the promise of an improvedmental health.Science has provided the swiftest communicationbetween individuals; it has provided a record of ideas andhas enabled man to manipulate and to make extracts fromthat record so that knowledge evolves and endures through-out the life of a race rather than that of an individual.

Bush makes an extremely good point by bringing how the Psychological and Physiological aspects of humans and how the technologies have improved many aspects of life more importantly through the Knowledge.

I really like how Bush described science, allows for communication between individuals and I strongly believe thats the case now as well even though competitiveness, individuals come together to make innovations and expand knowledge. I see that this aspect played a big role during the time of World War II even during the cold war.

    3. Now, says Dr. Bush, instruments are at hand which, if properlydeveloped, will give man access to and command over the inheritedknowledge of the ages. The perfection of these pacific instrumentsshould be the first objective of our scientists as they emerge from theirwar work.

During the time of World War II many scientific innovations were made. One view that many may not think about everyday while interacting with information. Moreover, its a view that is one of the most important as storing knowledge and accessibility of it. This in fact has opened the doors for the current digital age and provides a perspective on how far we have come and the amount of knowledge we have accessible to us currently.
