    1. "(It) could take six months, a year, two years, I don't know, but we can't really wait that long for Chantelle," he said, fighting back tears. "We've got to get it sooner."

This catches my attention as it is very unfortunate that a Mother and Father know that there is a solution to their daughters crisis and they are unable to get it due to the rules in Canada, I do understand all of the precautions but I could only imagine what the family is feeling. I like how the Father has brought it to social media to try and spread awareness. We are so lucky as Canadians to have free healthcare that you would think they would want to act on this fast and get it into the country. They even made a short film on Cystic-fibrosis and it blew up and received many awards, this is a very strong subject that a lot of people are diagnosed with, so the fact they may have found a cure is amazing. I would like to know if any additional personnel has been contacted based off of Chantelle's story and if anyone has reached out to the family with helpful details or assistance. I really feel this story should be shared as Chantelle is still in the hospital.

This has caught my attention because earlier it had listed this drug at 300,000$ which most Canadian families cannot afford.I think it is good that they are pushing to change the price so some families can afford it.I wonder how long it will take to get more information on the pricing for when it arrives because many patients will want to know. Patients will be disappointed if it comes to Canada at 300,000 because for most, they will not be able to receive it. I would like some more information on if it came to Canada, where are they at in research if it would be listed at 300,000 or if they are close to getting the price cut down for Canadians?

    3. Health Canada confirms the drug's manufacturer, Vertex, has not applied for approval for use in the country yet, and it says it can't compel it to do so. Vertex says it's "not permitted to comment on drugs that haven't received market authorization in Canada."

This caught my attention for how many companies want to cure diseases, with Vertex being the drug manufacturer, they clearly get results on how it is affecting patients so it is to their knowledge that is assisting a lot of patients. It states below that patients are already seeing the impact. You would think with results like that, that they would push for it to be sent and approved to Canada because they have come very close to curing this disease.I think there is more to this and would like to know why they haven't applied for approval? Why hasn't it received market authorization if it is working in the states?
