We are as gods
If we owe are creations a good life after creating them and god is our creator, then doesn't that mean god owes us good lives? If this is the case then god has been slacking and we owe our creations nothing.

She ended up using concepts and bits of code from the other classes she was taking, pulling a few all-nighters at the library with books on AI design, and just plain making stuff up in a few places. Her code wasn't anything like elegant
If in the future, collage students gain the ability to create sentient creatures using reused code and a couple all-nighters than how much would AI have progressed since today? are sentient creatures considered basic AI that anyone can make?

Waikīkī is now a miasma of concrete and asphalt, its waters drained into a canal dividing tourist from resident.
The thought of Hawaii turning from a once lush island to a concrete jungle all so it can continue to make profit from tourism is saddening. Tourism gives the remote island people jobs and allows for the island to be profitable. Yet in doing so we are destroying the once (yet still) beautiful land.
