    1. We intend to go further. We believe that the best way to teach history in an age of pervasive computing is through collaborative learning with computer games.

      This is interesting and a very good idea. Today, young people are normally using computers and other technologies as tools for learning and creating. Fusing a specific subject into a computer game is likely to obtain attention and attraction to the subjects we study today.

    1. While there is little doubt that technologies can act as catalysts for theoretical work, it is important not to allow the character of this work to be technologically determined. It is also important to revisit those technologies that are more firmly established within archaeology and to consider the way in which they have been used and understood

      This reminded me of something said in Monday's lecture about computers having brains (I definitely am misquoting this, my apologies...) but I agree that technology shouldn't be used to determine theoretical work, work that has been done by a human brain. In fact, we should be more sure about the technologies we're using and making sure they are well established. Nowadays, anything digital can be manipulated.
