Children are always teaching you something. You have to learn to pay attention to the smallest, subtlest things.
When I was 8 years old I remember an adult telling me that "children don't have an opinion until they are 18." That statement was so morally offensive that I still remember it to this day. Teaching and learning are in parallel with each other, as you can't have one without the other. I believe that children have a lot to offer us, and as educators, we should acknowledge the small things because that's what makes the greatest difference.
