To create an .editorconfig file within Windows Explorer, you need to create a file named .editorconfig., which Windows Explorer will automatically rename to .editorconfig.
Ah! That's the trick to create dot file in the windows explorer!
Like Wikipedia, Genius assumes that collaboratively-authored annotations can lead to a stable, monolithic truth about a text, a kind of crowdsourced exegesis. This model fails to respect the possibilities of divergent readings and collapses ambiguity into single narratives authored via consensus.
Does this critique also apply to the hypothes.is annotation model? And how to solve the problem of bias?
Our identities have no bodies, so, unlike you, we cannot obtain order by physical coercion.
In the 90ties it was common and easy to be in the internet with virtual identities.
I remember in the 80ies and early 90ies the internet was dominated by men, and I was very sceptical when I saw a female, because in many cases those were men with a female identity.
I also remember that I freely discussed topics in newsgroups with my real identity that I would not post on facebook and twitter today. At that time the internet was transient. Messages in newsgroups were kept for a few days (because disks pace was expensive). Years later, I was shocked to see that all my postings were archived somewhere and service like google made them available.
The idea of virtual identities not trackable back to the real identity was a dream that never came true...
And it becomes harder and harder to enter the cyberspace with an identity without body....
Describe what’s happening as if the action is unfolding right now in front of you. As Mark Twain said:

that's unfortunate: in the early 90ies it the internet was browsable on a termilal or from within emacs. This has totally been lost...

Now she spends all her time in facebook. being "antisocial" ;-)
