    1. Non-white populations are significantly more likely to see racism in society and in the workplace.

This reminds me of the phrase, "you don't know, what you don't know".

    2. another health issue has rapidly emerged as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic – mental health

I agree that this issue has been worse due to the pandemic. However, I think mental health has been an issue on the rise way before the pandemic.

    1. Reduce the stigma related to mental health support.

This is super important. I think that mental health support should not just be offered for those who seek it, because it can be hard for some people to seek. I think there should be mandatory "mental health check-ins" or resources in the workplace and schools.

    1. mixed viewpoints.

America deals with a lot of mixed viewpoints. The fact of the matter is, not everyone is going to agree with everyone. This can be really hard especially when it comes to tough subjects. I think one way we can make this easier is by normalizing, admitting that you can be wrong. I think Americans are way too afraid to admit that they are wrong (including me).

    2. This may be attributed to the growing awareness of systemic racism in society as a whole and the increased willingness to discuss these issues.

This is a good sign of growth.

    1. Non-white populations are significantly more likely to see racism in society and in the workplace.

This reminds me of the phrase, "you don't know, what you don't know".

    2. More employers are rising to the challenge and taking action to help support the mental health of their employees,

That makes me so happy to hear! I think that mental health is super important especially in a work (or school) environment. I think that work (or school) can cause a lot of stress and negative impacts on mental health. It is important that our country continues to work on improving the work and school environment.

    3. recognition of how race and systemic racism can impact the overall mental health of people of color.

I agree that this has created more division and mental health issues. It is not easy, but there is a good reason behind it. Our country needs to grow and learn how to abolish racial disparities.

    4. as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic – mental health.

I think this is not only a result of the pandemic. It was a problem before, but the pandemic made it worse.

    1. "Increasing mask use to 95% can save nearly 115,000 lives, reducing that expected number of deaths by 62.7%," the IHME said. And the same mask wearing, physical distancing and hand washing that protect against Covid-19 can also help avert a flu-and-coronavirus "twin-demic" that could overwhelm the health care system.

This CAN be better if Americans try!!

    2. Already, Covid-19 has killed more people in the US than Americans killed in battle during the five most recent wars combined: the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Iraq War, the War in Afghanistan and the Persian Gulf War.

      This is unimaginable! So sad!

    3. how much Americans are willing to fight this battle together.

Honestly it does not seem enough Americans are willing to fight for this. It is sad that our country is so divided and that not everyone believes in science.

    4. Many of those victims died without loved ones in hospital rooms. Countless others never had a proper funeral, with mourners grieving remotely online

This is so sad to think some of this could have been prevented!
