Rejects Confucian focus on ceremonies/rituals. Prefers spontaneity and play.
I find it really interesting that even though some people may think of ethics as one thing, there are different frameworks of it, some of which reject or go against each other. While they are both considered frameworks of ethics, they emphasize such different things, with Taoism focusing more on just letting things happen and Confucianism emphasizing taking on some role.
