I thought about the connections between Lie groups and the monogram notation for a while and put together some notes here. As it turns out, the \(^A\mathbf v^{B_A}_F\) velocities add like vectors, if expressed in the same frame! The quantity \(^A\mathbf v^{B}_F\) has the advantage of being more physically meaningful.
