    1. By now, 46 is not left out of conversation at all. All of the girls are there for each other and include her because they don't want to risk losing anyone else.

    2. in the scene in which we learn about 14's death, 46 is the one asking people to open up. Trying to see how everyone else is doing as she was an outsider before all of this happened and isn't as connected as the others.

    3. 46 does not understand social ques though as she brings up the abortion to 7's face (trying to connect to her and be supportive) which leads to a large fight between 7 and 14 (100)

    4. 46 reaches out to 7 saying sorry that her leg is broken and that she should have been on the field. 7 is reluctant to have to say that 46 "looked good out there" which moves 46

    5. 46 had high praise from the scout, saying her bicycle kick could have been on ESPN but she didn't want to tell the other girls (14 is the one who tells them) because she wants to keep the feeling of oneness she is finally achieving (96)

    6. 46 walks on "happier than we've ever seen her" because she finally got to play, her talent is being recognized and shes being accepted into the group (89)

    7. 25 puts 46 as striker, infuriating 7 as she is always striker. As 7 throws a fit, 25 sticks up for 46 saying "We're a team. You wanna play? You play With Us, All of Us, kay?" (79)

    8. 00 talks for the first time ever before a game quoting 46's song she says "... it's catchy" before she runs off to vomit, shows 46 is creating change within one of the girls at least. (65)

    9. 8 makes a joke about her living in a "yogurt" which sets 46 off on a wild tangent of juggling the ball while she screams to herself a sing song about how odd they all think she is. They realize how good she is while they watch, but 2 is the only one worrying whether or not she is okay. (64)

    10. the first time 46 is really in a conversation with the other girls is the warm up between 8 and 11 where they let 46 join. They discuss diedinhouse.com where 46 shows again how weird she is by talking about a spirit of someone who died in her house (well, technically her yurt) But the girls aren't turned off by her odd spirit talk. they actually keep the conversation going and are interested in what she has to say (60)

    11. they have the orange slice scene and 46 is on the verge of tears by the time they ask if she wants to be apart of the group picture. She doesn't understand what they're doing and is sad about never feeling like she is apart of the things they do. (52)

    12. 46 is looked at as weird once she talks about birds so she tries to gossip with the girls by talking about the abortion of 7 which is immediately met with negative backfire from the group. Everyone is aghast that she brought it up yet it does spark conversation in the group, conversation that 46 is still not apart of (48)

    13. 46 knows about types of birds. She names different species and a certain part of their body so she bird watches. Shows she is inquisitive, smart, and observant. (47)

    14. 46 is the only member of the group concerned by 00 puking. Everyone else has grown accustomed to it and waves it off as something she just does. 46 is not desensitized like the rest of them and cares deeply about others. (45)

    15. 2 is the only one to show remorse over talking behind 46's back because they start making fun of the way she smells and that she never shaves. (42)

    16. When she goes off to change is the first time the girls actually talk about 46's existence. They explain her given circumstances of living out of town in the hills and takes 3 buses to get to practice. (39)

    17. 46 late because of her bus and the girls are confused that she takes an odd mode of transportation. They pause when they notice she is there because she had finally said something. Was not noticed until she spoke. (38)

    18. 46 doesn't come in until half way through the second scene and no one notices her absence. the day continues as usual without her there. When her clothing is described it is said she has "a puffy coat over street clothes and odd snow boots" showing once again how she is abnormal compared to the others. (37)

    19. 46 asks to play striker and is denied the opportunity bc the girls do not want change. We see in 25's line "we're undefeated and we want to stay undefeated" the first time it is vocalized that change is not a thing easy for this group to accept (26)

    20. Th captain tells her not to make pregnancy jokes, 46 questions her. Not to be rude, most likely to be inquisitive. She is a smart girl who thinks differently than others and feels she deserves to know why in order to fully understand things (pg. 25)

    21. 46 makes her first large mistake we're seen which gives the other girls reason not to talk to her. Asking (jokingly) if 7 is pregnant is typically not a terrible thing but due to 7's given circumstances of recently "having an abortion" its far too touchy to say out loud. (pg. 15) this leads to 7 snapping on 46 only a few lines later when 46 is just trying to get people to recognize her existence.

    22. 46 attempts to talk to the other girls within the first 10 lines of dialogue, showing she is actually trying to gain friends in this new place and that she isn't inept in social situations. (pg.8)

    1. Awell constructed plot, there-fore, must neither begin nor end at haphazard, but conform to these. principles

I agree that a plot should be well thought out from beginning to end, however I personally enjoy when an ending is not everything you hoped it would be. For example: the production of Mother Courage that we did last semester had an ending that seemed unfulfilling and almost as if it was a quick brush off of an ending. Sometimes the context of the play deserves an ending that feels haphazard. It can reflect the world and leave audiences questioning more than a happy ending would.

    2. First, the instinct of imitation is implanted in man from childhood, one difference between him and other animals being that he is the most imitative of living creatures

Every creature learns from imitation. Though a newborn human has the instinct to maybe breathe and cry, a newborn turtle has the instinct to crawl into the ocean right after it has hatched and fend for itself. Humans are much more reliant on imitation to determine how to function.

    3. 'This rule is relative to each class. Even a woman may be good, and alsoa.slav~; thoμgh the. woman may be said to be an inferior being, ancl the slave quite worth-less

His exact example is very representative of the times, however he makes a good point with the creation of a unique character. In the film Moonlight (PLEASE watch it if you have yet to) the audience gets to view one of the most complex characters I have seen as Chiron is a gay African American boy who eventually buries his sexuality and desire for love to sell drugs and live out a life that makes him almost happy. He has constant inner conflict throughout the film and the use of non-stereotypical characteristics really created a masterpiece.

    4. This recognition, com-binedwith Reversal, will produce either pity or fear

I'm sorry but that just sounds very depressing. Does Aristotle need a hug?
